THE SCOLES REPORT
Well I"ve been over in Italy for a month now, starting to settle into new team and new bikes now, still got a wee bit of work to do on the bike set up on some rough tracks, but other than that new bike and Marzocchi"s are feeling good.

After racing in Citte di Castello 2 weekends ago we headed back to the team Base in Senigallia for a couple of days training in gym and on road bike before me and teammate Marco Milivinti packed up is little station wagon and headed of to his house of a night then off to an IXS Swiss Cup in Lugano. We arrived on the Friday morning for rego and practice in the afternoon. Walking the track it looked like fun with heaps of berms and jumps up the top and then into some rocky sections in the trees.

In the after noon we kited up for a couple of runs, and allot of hours standing in the line waiting for the 500 crazy Euros to load there bikes on the chairlift, but track was pretty fun up top and a wee bit greasy in the trees which made it interesting! Saturday was practice in the morning and seeding in the afternoon. We ended up getting 2 practice runs in and spending about 3 hours standing in line in the pissing rain. After having a bit of a feed for lunch we set of to try get another run before seeding but when we got to the lift they told us the track was closed and seeding run was cancelled due to the heavy rain and fog which meant the helicopter couldn"t get in if someone crashed so it was off to the team Playbiker 5 star hotel to watch some moto on Wyn"s lap top.

After waking up on race day to the sound of rain on the van roof and opening the door to another shitty day of rain and low cloud, the race officials decided to call the race off, which was a bit of a disappointment for everyone.

This week we are in San Remo in Italy doing a couple of days riding with the Lappiere team and Sam B back on his bike and getting amongst it after breaking his wrist during the NZ season. Cheers to Roberto from Argentina Bike for the accommodation and shuttles! Next week were off to Maribor for the 1st World Cup, so will be a good
