BROOK IN LEOGANG
So from Willingen we headed to Leogang for the 3rd round of the world cup in Austria.

We arrived a week earlier to set up everything and chill, with this been a new venue for this years world cup we weren"t sure what it was going to be like. With the track looking a bit odd in places it didn"t look a bad track but it looked pretty hard and full on and it wasn"t going to be easy with the mud.

So first day of practice came and the track was really muddy after a couple of run I started to get into it with Steve having a big crash in his first couple of runs he hit his headed pretty hard and had to spend a night in hospital. Qualifying day and Steve was back with missing a hole days practice and just come strait back into it was pretty tough for him, My qualifying run wasn"t to good with it been really slow and qualifying back in 44th, but was happy to qualify. With Blinkensop in first and Minnarr right behind him it was good to see him up there and it was looking like his track, Steve qualified good with missing a hole days of practice in 23rd and Strobel in 16th.

With over 22 New Zealanders competing it was good to see them all out there going for it. Race day and the weather was horrible it had been raining all night with heavy shower during the morning this was going to make the track difficult to ride. With a couple of practice runs in the morning I was feeling pretty good.

By race run the rain had stopped witch made the track just like bog and hard to pedal in. So race run came and I got into it with only making one mistake in the woods I came down and was into 5th I was pretty happy with my run considering I hadn"t been feeling good the days before, time to watch the next down for the New Zealanders was Cam Cole with a good result at Fort William he put together a good run and took over the hot seat from Steve Peat.

With only a few guys left cam was still in the hot seat with Gwin Knocking cam out of the hot sear this means that he will podium so another podium for his this was pretty good to see with Minnarr taking the winning and Blenkinsop in 4th with some mistake at the bottom was good to see two New Zealanders on the podium.

So from the race we stayed in leogang for another week until the ixs the following so dueing the week we headed to the RedBull HQ with Steve and Filip this was pretty cool to get to go and check out what goes on and how it all works out, so it was pretty amazing to see what a little can of drink can produce. I would just like to thanks all my Friends and Family for the support and all my Sponsors.
