The Interbike trade show has kicked off and one of the buzz words this year is Road Disc Brakes so ENVE have this lovely Parlee on display with to show off this new technology

We are huge fans of this new advancement, and the Road industry is still getting their heads around the new technology so it will only get better! This means no more carbon rims with sketchy braking on descents, you will be able to stop on a dime with carbon or alloy rims, rain or shine! This Parlee is using ENVE's 29er mtb rims which are already incredibly light in either clincher or tubular versions since there is no compromise in shape to accomodate a brake track. This means they will also be super stiff (maybe too much so) and almost bombproof in a road application so think about how much further road rims can evolve with this newfound freedom!

The Avid Mechanical disc brakes are brilliant stoppers which attach via Chris Kings superb new ISO R45 hub, but with companies like Formula and SRAM working on fully hydraulic systems they will only get better! This is the future.....
