Josh's ENVE Melee Bike Check
The ENVE Melee is one of the hottest road bikes of 2023. It's been the subject of overwhelmingly enthusiastic reviews, has been awarded Bike of the Year by Bike Radar and is lauded as being a truly modern road bike that ticks all the boxes: aero, huge tyre clearance, comfortable enough for long days but spirited and rowdy when you want to throw down.

Here's Josh's take on his new ride:
"I think it looks gorgeous. Designed to smoothly blend with the ENVE In-Route cockpit and SES wheels, the Melee is balanced, refined, elegant, and looks damn fast just standing still. It's as timeless as a 'modern' road bike will ever get. The Damascus grey finish keeps growing on me, playing up the futuristic, yet minimalist vibe of the bike.
There aren't many of these rolling around in NZ, with availability just starting to open up after very limited numbers at the time of launch. I feel very fortunate to be given the opportunity to ride this as my Wide Open staff bike. It's more bike than I thought I would ever have the chance to experience."
